The Hering Blues 48 harmonica is a 3-octave, 12 hole instrument, with an acrylic body and a chrome plated reed plates similar to the Special 48 harmonica.  This harmonica is designed to allow a slightly warmer tone than that of the Special 48 harmonica, but is limited to the key of C only.
